Washington-based director Megan Griffiths joins the show to chat with SJ Chiro about her new film Sadie (screening with An Afternoon with Melanie Lynskey on Sunday May 27th at 2:30p at the Egyptian). They discuss the lead performance from Sophia Mitri Schloss (Lane 1974), the problem with the term "strong female characters", and tackling violence on screen.
