Hosted in the picturesque Pacific Northwest, She/Her Fest is an annual community gathering that you won't want to miss!

Matinee Narrative Shorts - 12:00PM

1. Late Shift
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY BRITTA JOHNSON - Late Shift is a live action short film about an interaction between an established artisan and the young person she’s mentoring, and how their divergent personal lives clash.

2. Falling Behind
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY KAYLEIGH PIERCE - Despite yearning for a romantic relationship, Iris learns what she truly needs is a friend who understands what she is going through.

3. Madonna Lily
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY ELIAS MARTIN - Struck with grief after the sudden passing of his wife, a young widower will do whatever it takes for one last moment with her.

4. Festival Child
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY KAT HENNESSEY - A festivalist in a neon dress with a pocket full of K, soberly stumbles across transcendence before she can even step out her front door.

5. Pointe of Obsession
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY ANJELICA HYMEL - The performing arts industry is a mental war zone for queer and female performers vying for glory. In Pointe of Obsession, a deranged dancer kidnaps her ex-girlfriend to teach her a lesson.

Documentary Shorts - 3:30PM

1. Student (A Queer Memory Across Generations)
DIRECTED BY ANDREA MARTINEZ DORR -Through conversations with her mother's former student, the director discovers a pedagogical bond that served as a refuge for queer identity. An intimate look at memory, legacy, and the bridges between three generations of women.

2. The Secret of Her Success
DIRECTED BY JO BARKER & HOLLY BLACK - Exploring the highs and hardships of five British self-made women, balancing family life and personal drive through the 1970s - 2000's, and paving the way for self-employed women today.

3. Sítio Aimotuá: Breaking Barriers, Planting Possibilities
DIRECTED BY MARI CLEVEN - This documentary follows Cátia and Daphne, two visionary women in rural Brazil, as they transform a degraded landscape into a thriving agroforestry system.

4. She Measures the Earth
DIRECTED BY CHING YU - She Measures the Earth follows four women scientists in Canada, Alison Criscitiello, Jocelyn Hirose, Isobel Phoebus, and Chimira Andres, as they reshape who belongs to science.

Evening Narrative Shorts - 6:30PM

1. What the Crows Saw
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY GINA EAST - The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women's crisis is explored when a Pueblo woman enters a lone tavern in search of her missing sister.

2. uminom ka ng gamot (take your medicine)
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY MARNIE SALVANI - A young woman, sick and alone, fails to take care of herself. She calls her parents to help her take her medicine; the phone call fails to connect the family.

3. They Just Fade Away
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY CAROLYN (XIANGE) LIU - Amid her husband’s funeral, elderly Yunqiu seizes a fleeting chance to reconnect with her estranged family, hoping to gather funds for her orphaned grandson’s wedding. However, she soon faces the harsh reality of her own helplessness and the growing distance between them.

4. Motherload
WRITTEN BY MARA KASSIN & DIRECTED BY MICHELLE BOSSY - Margot moves through the ordinary tasks of parenting, her nonstop inner monologue reveals the anxiety, humor, guilt, and love beneath the surface.

5. Blue Ball
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY GIGI SERVANT - In the heart of a ship bound for the new world, Patience faces the consequences of her actions, until the Captain's punishment is suddenly interrupted.

6. Life is (a) Short
WRITTEN BY CHELSEA LONDON LLOYD & DIRECTED BY BROOKE DOOLEY, PRODUCED BY HOPE RUBINKOWSKI - On the ten-year anniversary of her dad's death, Frankie reflects on the absurdity of content creation. She would rather end her life than make a short film about death. But is she serious? A twisted look at why we make art through the lens of grief.
