VR/360 Teen Filmmaking Camp
Presented by SIFF, MoPOP, and fearless 360
June 26 - July 7, 2017
New media technologies are sweeping the industry and we feel it is important for young artists to get creative with 360 cameras in their hands and exploring the craft of editing with Premiere Pro. But technology only takes filmmakers so far. It is imperative that storytelling takes a front seat and their film moves beyond technical precision and achieves a deeper resonance.
Throughout the two weeks, students will work with professional filmmakers to create their own VR/360 films in small groups.
June 26 - July 7 (no camp on July 4)
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, SIFF Film Center and MoPOP at Seattle Center
FEE
$750 | $700 for SIFF and MoPOP members
Partial scholarships are available for students from schools with over 50% free and reduced lunch. Email education@siff.net to inquire about a scholarship for your student.
This camp is not intended for beginning students. Prior experience making films formally or informally is expected. If you have any questions, please email education@siff.net.
