SEATTLE – SIFF is now accepting press accreditation applications for the 52nd Seattle International Film Festival, returning to the city May 7-17. Accreditation entitles media to interview requests with filmmakers, access to preview screenings and Festival events, and limited access to public screenings.
New and returning applicants for SIFF media accreditation can submit through the SIFF 2026 Press Accreditation Application. Press Passes will be distributed on a case-by-case basis based on intended coverage.
Please note separate invitations and RSVP processes will be shared in April to Accredited press members for Opening and Closing Night films as well as any associated parties. A press pass will not guarantee entry to all Festival events. If you wish to cover a specific party, gala, or special event at the 2026 Seattle International Film Festival, write to press@siff.net with "Special Event Coverage" in the subject line and include a description of your intended coverage. Access will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
All materials must be submitted via the SIFF 2026 Press Accreditation Application by Wednesday, April 1. Approved media will be notified no later than Friday, April 3 and will be able to pick up their credentials at Festival Press Launch on Wednesday, April 15 at SIFF Cinema Uptown.
SIFF will be partnering with The Grand Hyatt Seattle as the Official Hotel of the Seattle International Film Festival. The hotel will be home to the Festival’s Guest Relations team and Press Office. Press inquiries, appointments, and interview requests can be made at press@siff.net.
The 52nd Seattle International Film Festival will play in-person May 7-17 at venues across Seattle. Passes and ticket packages are on sale now at siff.net/passes. Individual tickets will go on sale to SIFF members on April 15, and to the general public on April 16, 2026.
