SIFF Announces Seven Newly Appointed Members to its 2024 Board of Directors

SEATTLE – SIFF announces seven new members of its 2024 Board of Directors, joining the organization after the opening of its newest venue, SIFF Cinema Downtown in December of 2023 and ahead of its 50th annual Seattle International Film Festival in May of 2024.

“Welcoming new board members is always an exciting time for our organization, and we are incredibly fortunate to be welcoming seven new Directors, all bringing new and unique perspectives and passion for SIFF and the future of film in our community,” says SIFF’s Board President, Diana Knauf. 

Joining SIFF’s Board of Directors in 2024 to continue its mission to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world are:

Ben Gibbard: Lifelong cinephile & lead singer and founder of multi-platinum Seattle rock bands Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service.

Brian Knollenberg: Marketing and analytics leader with 25+ years experience growing revenue and building brands. Senior Vice President of Marketing at BECU & SIFF Sponsor.

Jessica Prince: Programmer for Seattle Jewish Film Festival, longtime SIFF volunteer and member & former marketer for Apple, Microsoft and T-Mobile.

Sudeshna Sen: Local filmmaker & screenwriter whose work has screened at the Seattle International Film Festival on two occasions & former Board Member of NorthWest Film Forum.

Josh Lackey: Associate Marketing Director at Vulcan Real Estate, events strategist, creator of SLU Block Party & SIFF Sponsor, venue host and attendee. 

Michael Bartley: Executive Creative Director at Indigo Slate with a skilled digital strategy background, filmmaker & Board Member at Cornish College of the Arts.

Rose Tatlow: Former Board Member of Coyote Central and the NW PhotoCenter, experienced fundraiser & longtime SIFF member, donor and volunteer
