Combine the bat-guano-lunacy of Hausu (House) with the metaphysical WTF-ness of "Lost" and the result is Goke, the tale of a handful of passengers and crew who are among the survivors of a terrifying airplane crash. Unfortunately (for them), things become vastly more challenging from there. Alien invasion, anyone? The order of the day: prevent the complete destruction of the planet. Will they? Won’t they? How quaint! Seems like an everyday occurrence of late. We presented a rare 35mm print of the film at the Grand Illusion way-back-when and those in-attendance have continued talking about this incredible film ever since.
