Festival to offer pre-recorded sessions from three featured directors

SEATTLE (November 5, 2021) – Celebrating SIFF’s Cinema Italian Style festival, three directors will offer pre-recorded Q&A sessions for filmgoers this weekend.

“One of the best new things that spun out of the pandemic is more virtual Q&A sessions,” says SIFF’s Artistic Director, Beth Barrett. “We’re able to hear from many more directors who otherwise might not be able to travel and attend these screenings in person. Their insights and behind-the-scenes perspectives offer so much more to the movie experience.”

SIFF Cinema Italian Style programmer Angelo Acerbi recorded three Q&As, which will play directly after their screenings. Director Leonardo Di Costanzo will discuss his film The Inner Cage on Saturday, November 6 after the 7:30pm screening. Director Stefano Sardo will discuss his film With or Without You on Sunday, November 7 after the 4:00pm screening. Director Alessandro Gassman will discuss his film The Great Silence on Monday, November 8 after the 6:30pm screening. All films will screen at SIFF Cinema Egyptian at 805 E Pine St, Seattle, WA, 98122.
