SEATTLE – Today, participating businesses will begin posting clues and locations of where to find hidden tickets to the 48th Seattle International Film Festival. The game, created to celebrate SIFF’s return to an in-person festival, will feature clues posted to SIFF’s Instagram (@siffnews) as well as the 10 local businesses’ accounts, leading to Festival ‘Seeker 6-Pack’ ticket packages hidden all around Seattle.

Once the clues and locations are posted, the treasure hunt begins and the first Cinema Seeker to locate the Seeker 6-Pack earns a “golden ticket” into the 2022 Seattle International Film Festival which can be redeemed at the screenings of the lucky finder's choice. Clues will be posted April 6-13.

“Everything about the return to in-person screenings this year is a reason to celebrate,” said SIFF Artistic Director Beth Barrett. “This game and promotion are just one way that we’re working with our incredible partners to give more opportunities to experience amazing films together again.”

The 48th Seattle International Film Festival will be held April 14-24 and will screen 262 films representing 80 countries & regions at venues across the Seattle area.

For those who don’t locate a ‘Seeker 6-Pack’, a variety of film and event passes are on sale starting at $250. All passes (except for the Secret Festival Pass) include access to all virtual screenings on the SIFF Channel. In addition, the SIFF Film Pass includes advanced seating before ticket holders, as well as entry to preview screenings, running April 11-14.

Individual tickets are currently on sale to the public. Tickets for individual screenings are $15 ($12 for SIFF members and $14 for seniors and students). For information on all event and screening packages and tickets, please visit siff.net/passes.
