SEATTLE – SIFF is now accepting press accreditation applications for the 50th Seattle International Film Festival, returning in person May 9-19 at venues across Seattle and virtually on the SIFF Channel May 20–27.

Accreditation entitles media to interview requests with filmmakers, access to preview screenings and Festival events, and limited access to public screenings. New and returning applicants for SIFF media accreditation can submit through the SIFF 2024 Press Accreditation Application. Press Passes will be distributed on a case-by-case basis based on intended coverage for 2024.

For returning members of the media who covered the 2023 Seattle International Film Festival as an accredited journalist, please submit your coverage from SIFF 2023 (links, copy, audio/video clips) via the accreditation form.

If you have covered the Seattle International Film Festival in the past but have since changed media affiliation, please apply as a new applicant.

If you wish to cover a specific party, gala, or special event at the 50th Seattle International Film Festival, write to press@siff.net with "Special Event Coverage" in the subject line and include a description of your intended coverage: outlet, extent of coverage, and timing of publication. Access will be granted on a case-by-case basis.

All materials must be submitted via the SIFF 2024 Press Accreditation Application by Monday, April 1. Approved media will be notified no later than Friday, April 12 and will be able to pick up their credentials at Festival Press Launch on Tuesday, April 16 at SIFF Cinema Egyptian.
